Sensor Repair
Garage door sensors can go wrong when the photo-eyes get bumped out of alignment, the lenses get dirty, wiring becomes loose or damaged, or direct sunlight causes interference—any of which can make the door refuse to close, stop midway, or reverse unexpectedly. Sometimes the sensor brackets loosen, the LEDs indicate a fault, or the sensor itself fails from age or moisture. Repairs typically include cleaning the lenses, realigning and securing the sensors, inspecting and reconnecting wiring, replacing damaged brackets, and swapping out faulty sensors so the safety system works reliably again.
